Obituary of Jill A. Short

Short, Jill Ann of Midland, MI Jill received her wings in the early morning hours of Saturday October 22, 2016 with family by her side. Jill was born in Midland, MI on January 30th 1952. She graduated from MHS worked and retired from MHS as well. She married the love of her life Kim L. Short on December 2, 1972. She has two children Eric and Lori. She enjoyed her family, traveling, golf, salmon fishing, and the outdoors. Jill was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Smith and father Dean Hitsman. She is survived by her husband Kim, children Eric Short, and Lori (Patrick) Simon, grandchildren; Ethan, Scarlett, Lincoln, and Claire. Also surviving are her siblings; Jeff (Shelly), Diane (Dan), Tex (Joy), aunt Merian White, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday November 27th, 2016 at Floyd Church of God, Midland, MI. We will be celebrating her life at Big Ds of Midland MI (430 W Isabella Rd, Midland, MI 48640) directly following the service.
