Obituary of Elgie N. Zerod

Zerod, Elgie Bay City, MI (formerly of Fairgrove MI) Elgie, age 82, passed away, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Bickford Assisted Living of Saginaw. She was born December 16, 1933 to the late Hubert and Josephine (Shapley) Riggs. She was registered nurse for many years. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her children, Diana Lee of Alexandria VA, Kitty Mcrea of Virginia, Walter G. (Shirley) Zerod, Preston J. Zerod and Patrick Zerod, all of Bay City MI. Also surviving are 16 beloved grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Walter H. Zerod and daughter, Debbie Spanagel. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 2 PM at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of service.
