Obituary of Sophie M. Klimkewicz

Klimkewicz, Sophie M. Saginaw, Michigan Miss. Klimkewicz, age 89, beloved aunt and sister went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday July 29, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Sophie Marie was born on April 30, 1927 in Saginaw to the late Anthony and Jennie (Dolenga) Klimkewicz. Sophie enjoyed bowling, bingo, baseball, basketball and going on outings with her family. Sophie is survived by her; brother, Al Klimkewicz; sister, Josephine Roberts; many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Vicki Flory, Thomas and Beth Darabos, Ericka Stark, Lora Gulick, Dolores Giacoletti and Sharon Brown for the love, and care and always being there for Sophie. Grace Hospice team for providing love, support and undivided attention to Sophie in her time of need. Sophie was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and a special friend Joann Beuthin. According to Sophie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on August 26th at 10:30 A.M. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church,5376 State Street, Saginaw, Michigan.
