Shirley J. Cook passed away at her home surrounded by family on June 22, 2016. She was 84 years old. She was a loving and proud grandma to 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She grew up in Saginaw, MI and graduated from Saginaw High School in 1949. Shirley raised her family in Freeland, MI and had fond memories of being a Girl Scout Troop Leader and working for NuVision Optical in Saginaw.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert L. Cook and her children, Robert (Brenda) Cook Jr. of Saginaw, Cynthia (Duane) Reinke of Freeland, Catherine (Waynne) Ziegler of Havelock, NC, and a very special niece, Connie (Kim) Peckham of Midland Cremation has taken place.
