Obituary of Patricia Balewicz Plum

Plum, Patricia A. (Balewicz) Fairgrove, Michigan Patricia died Monday, April 4, 2016 at James E. Cartwright Care Center in Saginaw, age 86. She was born March 18, 1930 in Saginaw, the daughter of Walter and Alice (Brasseur) Balewicz. She married William B. Plum on August 18, 1962 and shared 20 years of love, adventure and the joy of sailing until his death May 5, 1982. Patsy never stopped learning and was a constant source of interesting conversation as she was an active member of SVSU Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), Olde Thyme Herb Society of Bay County and her book club. Her love of travel and singing with the Bay Chorale took her to many countries abroad. Those to cherish her memory are her three sisters, Ursuline Hoffman, Joan (Ed) Green and Carol (Emmett) Waier, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, April 15 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland, MI from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place and memorials may be directed to the donor's favorite charity.
