Obituary of Marlene Burnell

Burnell, Marlene Saginaw, MI Passed away on March 30, 2016, at the age of 81 years. She was born on August 20, 1934 to the late Edith and William Yare in Saginaw, MI. Marlene was an excellent seamstress and loved to golf - even scoring a hole in one! She is survived by three of her children, Sheila (Nick) Paccioni, Louis (Lisa) Burnell, and Craig Burnell. Her husband, Louis N. Burnell and daughter, Yvonne Burnell predeceased her. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Yare, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Also mourning her loss is Adam Emmendorfer, her faithful and caring companion of the past 31 years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss St, Saginaw, MI at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service. Special thanks are extended to the kind workers from Homewatch Caregivers of Freeland and The Medical Team Hospice who provided care for Marlene during her last months and days of life.
