Skip...didn't know you, but you are absolutely correct! Jim treated everyone as though they were friends forever! He is so missed, but his memory will bless all those who knew him for a very long time.

Thanks, Jay. You two were quite a pair back then! Jim left this earth physically, but his legacy of love and kindness will go on and on!

I went to Holy Redeemer with Jim. I picked him up for school our junior and senior years. What a great guy! He loved hockey and was always the kindest person to anyone he met. Good bless him for all the good he brought into this world!

I didn't know Jim long, we worked at GM Plt 38 and although in different trades when he saw me around Flushing he treated me like he knew me all his life. he treated everyone (In my opinion) as though they were close friends. Very sorry to hear of his passing. Wish I had a chance to know him better. Every time we spoke he mentioned Tim, he sure loved his brother, I'm sure Tim knows that. Rest in peace my friend.

My deepest sympathies to you, Betty, Tim, Nicole and the whole family. I was deeply saddened by the news of Jim passing. I worked with him as a patternmaker for 24 years and we retired on the same day. I'll never forget him. He was never at a loss for words, and Steve Lambert is right, his ability to recall sports trivia was no less than amazing. The stories he told of the older patternmakers we worked with had me in stiches many, many times. He always encouraged me that I was a better patternmaker than I gave myself credit for. I have many good memories of our time spent together. We clashed a few times but remained good friends at all times. He will be missed. May God comfort you all during this time,
Your friend
Ed Lee

I worked with Jim at Plt38 for over 20 years. Being from Cincinnati, Jim and I used to have a running joke about who was the better ballplayer, Al Kaline or Pete Rose. Almost daily we'd have a good laugh about it. If there was any sport history or statistic that we wanted to know I would go to Jim. The amazing thing was that he was usually 99% of the time correct! He was a great friend and he is trully missed. Bless all your family in this time of loss. Steve Lambert
