John "Jack" Lynch passed away Sunday, October 25 after a brief illness. He was at home, surrounded by his wife Sandy, son Mike and wife Casey, and eight adoring grandchildren, Emily, Kathryn, Allison, Madeline, Luke, Carmen, Jonah and Caleb, as well as daughter-in-law, Tosha. Present by phone were son Patrick and wife Gloria, missionaries in Columbia, South America, and son Jim from Oklahoma. He is also survived by his brothers, Patrick and Michael. He was lovingly visited in his last week by his long-time secretary, Diana Hutchins, his dear friend, Gary Cole, and his brothers and grandchildren. He was the son of Edward Lynch, long-time Mt. Pleasant attorney and Dorothy Lynch, former beloved third grade teacher. Jack practiced as an oil and gas attorney in Mt. Pleasant for 52 years.
