Obituary of Beverly A Marra

Marra, Beverly A. Midland, MI Beverly passed away peacefully, August 10, 2015 at the age of 79. She was born in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania on September 29, 1935 to the late Gerald and Clella (Appli) Schoonmaker. She was a long time resident of Olean, NY, where she worked for 25 years in the housekeeping department at the Olean General Hospital. She moved to Midland MI upon her retirement where she became active in the Aldersgate United Methodist Church and knitted dozens of hats and mittens which she donated to charity. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Jill Marra; grandson Michael Marra; step granddaughters and their husbands, Renee and David White, Abby and Steven Scherzer, Tricia and Donald Barcia; and six step great grandchildren. The family invites friends and relatives to attend a gathering to celebrate and share their memories of Beverly on Sunday August 30, 2015 from 1:30pm to 3pm at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church 2206 Airfield Ln, Midland, MI with a light luncheon immediately following in the church social hall.
