Norman passed away July 31, 2015 at the age of 72. He was born on July 30, 1943 to the late Frank and Mary (Gunter) Albert in Saginaw, MI. He enjoyed helping others, going to auctions, woodworking, electrical work, and mechanics. He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church where he served as a Trustee.
He is survived by his loving companion Barbara Black; four children, Tracy (Maria) Albert of Saginaw, Kellijo (Randy) Nowak of Bay City, Mathew Albert of Traverse City, and Michelle Albert of Freeland. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Daniel, Amanda, Kerrijo, Korrijo, Peter, Shaunna, Skyler, & Hailey; 6 great-grandchildren, Cohan, Paitann, Angela, Cameron, Talon, & Calvin; 4 sisters and a brother, Jane (Harold) Altenburger of Montrose, Virginia Reed of Mt. Morris, Dennis (Pauletta) Albert of Florida, Patty (Bob) Tonkavitch of Auburn, and Julie Hendrich of Saginaw. He was predeceased by his son Scott Albert in 1986.
A Life Celebration Service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11 AM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5250 Mackinaw, Saginaw MI. Pastor H. Mosley will officiate. The family will be present at church to receive friends one hour prior to the service. Those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
