Obituary of Delores L. Bliss

Delores L. Bliss April 14, 1944 – May 13, 2015 Delores L. Bliss, 71, of Sanford died Wednesday May 13, 2015 at her home peacefully surrounded by her three daughters. Delores was born April 14, 1944 in St. Johns daughter of late Lyle and Helen (Moore).Delores preceded in death her husband Robert Bliss of 44 years of marriage and her brother Jack Moore. Delores was a loving caring woman who devoted her life to her family. Anyone who knew her knew she loved to go to the casino. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, camping, fishing, and bowling. She loved her black cat Dude. Delores is survived by her daughters, Shawn Bliss of Midland, Denise (Doug) Turrell of Midland and Dawn Mobley of Sanford: 4 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren, Nichole and Danielle Vine, Travis and Lauren Turrell, and Michael and Nicole Mobley: sister Kay Smith of Laingsburg. At this time Shawn, Denise and Dawn would like those of you who were touched by the life of Delores to take a moment to share a story, have wonderful thoughts or say a prayer. We are fulfilling her wishes not to have a service but will have a celebration of life at a later time. We would like to give a special thank you to the hospice organization.
