Obituary of Christopher John Grappin

Grappin, Christopher J. Bay City, Michigan Christopher age 32, died Friday May 15, 2015. Christopher was born in Midland on November 26, 1982 to Dean and Janet (Jacoby) Grappin. Christopher was a 2001 graduate of Western High School, and a 2013 graduate of Saginaw Valley State University. His passions were jet skiing, snow skiing, and disc golf. Mr. Grappin is survived by his parents; Dean and Janet Grappin of Bay City, his brother Michael Grappin of Bay City. Also surviving are his grandparents; Dave and Joann Grappin of Bay City, and Dr. John Jacoby of Chanhassen, MN, aunts and uncles; David and Michele Grappin of Bay City, Sheryl and Rich Pashak of Kawkawlin, Kellie Dore of Bay City, Sondra and Jim Norton of Bay City, Jim and Kathy Jacoby of Marietta, GA, Bob and Vicki Jacoby of Plymouth, MI, Bill Jacoby of Chanhassen, MN, and Tom Jacoby of Grand Haven, MI, also surviving are many cousins, great aunts and uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Barbara Ann Jacoby and his uncle John Dixon Jacoby. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday May 21, 2015 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 911 Center Avenue, Bay City. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
