My favorite memory of Erin was... just being with her! She always made me laugh, whether we were picking on each other, talking trash about sports or sharing simple text messages like "Hey". Erin knew how to find fun in every situation. My favorite thing about Erin was her smile, it was her signature. She was ALWAYS smiling, no matter what challenge she may have been facing. I feel so blessed to have known her and I am a better person because of our relationship. Erin was the bravest person I have ever met and although she lost her last battle with cancer, she kicked cancers butt many times!!!
To the Treib family, Tammy and Bobby, you are truly amazing parents and people. Erin was a direct reflection of your love and the morals you instilled in her. Thank you for opening your house to me and allowing me to drop in any time I had a free moment. To the other "GEMS"...Greg, your love for your little sister was evident. You were her protector and she loved you so much. She also loved your boys and talked about them all the time. She was such a proud Aunt. Molly and Sara, the bond between sisters is so special. I loved watching how you pampered her and made sure she knew how special she was.
To Alex, the love of her life. Your love was the most true form of love I have ever seen, You accepted Erin for all she was and brought the best out of her, as she did you! You all did not need much as long as you had each other. We can all learn a lesson from your relationship.
May you all find comfort in your memories as I know Erin would want us to smile when we think of her, not cry.
Happy Birthday Erin. Although I can't see you, when I close my eyes I can imagine your smile and hear your giggle...then my world is at peace. Love you Erin and miss you terribly....xoxo
