Charlene,
I am so saddened by the loss of my dear friend. The last time I saw him was when his brother sadly passed away. I so wish I had kept in touch with him. I pray he is in a better place with no more suffering. I can't imagine what you have been through. I will always have a special place in my heart for him.
Deepest Sympathies,
Helen

Jim was so special to me. While we didn't visit much as adults, my childhood is full of .memories of him and his brothers, my cousins. That full head of curly red hair and freckles. First job at a fast food burger place. Rock and roll band with his brothers (very loud). Visits to Virginia to visit our family. Leaving for Viet Nam in uniform, and hearing him solemnly tell stories afterwards. As an adult I visited his home and went on an ocean cruise. Jim was gentle and kind. I loved him. Char, you are in my prayers.

Charlene & Family,
I will always value my time working with Jim. We debated and shared philosophy on just about everything on our long rides to Gaylord or Alpena. I'm embarrassed we didn't keep in better touch after we moved. I'm thinking of him and all of you during this time.
Cordially

I had the pleasure of working with Jim at Lake State Railway for over two years. He was most certainly someone I enjoyed talking to, and getting to know. He had a very kind and true heart, that I will never forget. I remember taking my boys on the steam engine trian ride, and Jim making sure he had some good pictures of my boys to give to me...he was thrilled to see my kids have such a good time! I'm so sorry to his family for your loss, he will be greatly missed.

Words cannot truly express the emotions of my heart. I know this is hard on us all, having lost two uncles in exactly 2 months is devastating. May we all find Strength & Peace within God's loving arms. Uncle Jim holds a special place in my heart and many memories of my childhood. Love and hugs to you Aunt Charlene, Stephanie, Melissa, David and families. XOXO

I'm so sorry for this loss. Uncle Jim was a really great guy and I know he will be missed.
Too many of my Aunts and Uncles seem to be leaving the family these last few years. I know its all part of life, but I'm not certain I'm ready for this to be happening.
God Bless Uncle Jim and be with his friends and family at this time.
