A dedicated homemaker for most of her life, Merdene had a heart of gold and loved taking in stray humans and animals alike, she had an unwavering love for her family. She found joy in simple pleasures—riding horses, playing cards at any opportunity, and driving fast in cars or motorcycles. She also cherished family gatherings at the lake on their property—a little piece of heaven that brought everyone together.
