Obituary of Paul Edward Brown
Please share a memory of Paul to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dear Family and Friends,
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Air Force Veteran, Paul Brown, at The VA Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. He departed this life peacefully on Thursday night. Paul was a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His life exemplified love, kindness, and the remarkable impact one individual can have on the lives of others.
Paul proudly served his country in the Air Force, a commitment that defined much of his character—selfless, dedicated, and courageous. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Kimberly Ann Alaniz, and son-in-law, Rene Alaniz; his son, Kenneth Paul Brown, and daughter-in-law, Mary Brown; as well as six beloved grandchildren and two treasured great-grandchildren. His family also includes Amanda Marker and her husband, Branden, along with their daughter, Amelia; Gage Alaniz and girlfriend Dezirae Arzola; Jace Alaniz and girlfriend Genevieve Pena; Kenneth Paul Brown II and his wife, Allie Brown, and their daughter, Autumn; Jeremy Brown and his wife, Sydney Brown; and Cameron Brown with his girlfriend, Kelsey Bettman. Additionally, he is survived by his former wife, Judy Brown, and his beloved fiancée, Marion Chaplinski, along with her son, Mike Chaplinski, Cindy Ruth, and daughter, Michelle McIntyre, who held him in great affection.
A humble and generous man, Paul prioritized family and friendships, nurturing enduring relationships that enriched the lives of all around him. As an entrepreneur, he founded Liquid Molding Systems in Midland, Michigan, in 1985 and was the visionary and inventor behind the innovative silicone valve that has since become a staple in upside-down ketchup bottles.
As we honor Paul's memory, we also celebrate the significant contributions he made to both his family and the community at large. His spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those he loved and inspired. Paul expressed a desire for his life to be celebrated, and we are in the process of planning a memorial service in the spring of 2025.
Rest in peace, Paul. You will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
