James Todd Beach, affectionately known as Jim, was born to the late Jimmie and Brenda (Robertson) Beach on July 24, 1969, in Pontiac, Michigan, and passed away on October 21, 2024, in Prescott, Michigan. He is survived by his beloved children, Emily Beach, Brandon (Betha) Drapeau, Joseph (Shelby) Beach, and Derek Smith, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Layla and Beckham.
A dedicated worker within the construction field, Jim spent many years honing his skills in drywall, fencing, and various construction modalities, earning the respect of his colleagues and clients alike. His biggest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Jim was known for his jokes, laughter and friendly demeanor, which made him a beloved figure among his family, friends, and community. He had a unique ability to make everyone around him laugh, a true testament to his warm and generous spirit. In his free time, Jim enjoyed fishing and camping, fond of the beauty of nature and the tranquility it brought and dedicated to catching the biggest fish he could in the nearby lakes.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, June (Drapeau) Beach, and his parents, Jimmie and Brenda Beach. Jim is also survived by his sister, Angela, and brother, Timothy, along with many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. His vibrant personality and the love he shared will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
