Obituary of Ruth Elaine Patrzik

Ruth Elaine Patrzik, age 95, of Saginaw Michigan, passed away Saturday October 19, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born August 9, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Edward and Emma Miller. On August 13, 1949 she married the love of her life, Alfred John Patrzik, he predeceased her in 1991.

Ruth was a member of Second Presbyterian Church where she had played handbells.
She retired from Ricker Junior High School where she spent many years working as a secretary. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at Covenant in the Business Development office and did so into her early nineties, logging over 10,500 volunteer hours.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church, the library and McDonalds.
She never missed a birthday party and especially enjoyed the birthday cake. She was the best grandma and great-grandma and many memories are cherished by her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynne Patrzik and Susan Gatza; four grandchildren, Amy, Heather, Christopher, and Thomas; twelve great-grandchildren, Ava, Ella, Hazel, Jack, Vivien, Beau, Leo, Logan, Jude, Remo, Emily and Ryan. She also leaves two beloved sisters, Sharon and Beverly. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Dick.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Second Presbyterian Church, 2665 Midland Rd, Saginaw, MI. All are welcome.
