Catherine Ann “Cathy” Keys 

Oakley, MI 

Catherine Ann Keys passed away in the late morning of October 20, 2024 at her home surrounded by her husband and children at the age of 55 after a short, but tough, battle with cancer. Born on July 19, 1969 in North Carolina, she was a fiery spirit whose infectious laugh filled a room. She grew up in Owosso, Michigan, the daughter of Suzanne and Paul Price. As a child, she enjoyed 4-H and the many hours spent riding her horse amongst her friends. She graduated from Corunna High School in 1987. As an adult, she enjoyed photography, camping, gardening, motorcycles, and animals of all shapes and sizes. She was often found sipping coffee on her patio, covered in dog and cat hair, soaking in some sun with her beloved pets. Her best moments and memories were spent with her family, especially her children. 

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Keys; children, Samantha Hahn (Max Kelly), Kelly Hahn (Bryan Weiler), and Jesse Keys (Makenna Boyd); step-daughter, Cassie Neumann (Paul); grandchildren, Espen and Gracelyn Neumann; parents, Suzanne and Paul Price, David (Lillian) Keys, and Patsy Johnson; and many siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other loved ones. 

Cathy asked that we forego a formal funeral and celebrate her life amongst family members in the weeks to come and/or on her birthday in the warm summertime. In lieu of flowers or remembrance, Cathy would ask that you consider memorial contributions to your local humane societies and animal shelters in the form of food and resources.
