In Loving Memory of Robert G. Pohlman "Bobby"
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert G. Pohlman,
lovingly known as "Bobby." He was a warm, funny, and kind-hearted man
whose memory will be cherished.
Bobby was predeceased by his parents, Patricia and Robert J. Pohlman, and his sisters, Dawn and Debbie. Despite these losses, he found strength in the love of his friends and family, especially his devoted wife and best friend, Wendy. Their bond was a beautiful love story
filled with support, loyalty, and laughter.
As a bench jeweler, Bobby took pride in restoring jewelry with meticulous attention to detail. He loved tending to his vegetable garden and building model airplanes in his spare time. Bobby cherished taking daily walks with his wife and his dog, Buddy. He also loved talking about memories of fishing trips with his dad, sisters, and his great circle of lifelong friends—moments that stayed with him
throughout his life.
The family is deeply grateful to everyone who showed care, kindness, and support during this time. Thank you for the expertise and care of the U of M staff. Your compassion brought comfort in Bobby’s final days and will always be remembered.
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife, Wendy, who stood by his side
with unwavering love and strength; his stepchildren, Dawson Brown and
Shaun Rozek (partner Bionca Nattiel); grandkids Devon and Daniel Nattiel and Collin Rozek; his nieces and nephews, Tyler Munger, Holly Toner, Heather Conachan, Brock Allardyce, and Matthew Miller; his uncle Jon Olson; his aunt Susie Langeneck; his aunt and uncle Sharon Churchfield and Jim Schweinsberg; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jill and Bob Miller; his in-laws, Barb and Bill Rozek; and close family friend Sally Hovis.
All who knew Bobby will carry his memory with love and pride. As we
say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing Bobby’s spirit will live on in
the hearts of those fortunate to know him. He will be forever loved,
missed, and always remembered.
