Q: What will you never forget about Jeanne?
A: Dear Grandma,
There is a hole in my heart knowing that you are no longer with us. As a child, you and Bumpa used to watch me while my mom worked often. I will never forget breakfasts in the kitchen, watching you two interact as we were all making toast and preparing fruit. Toast and jam/jellies won't be the same. Especially freezer jams.
I will long for the days when I see my Bumpa's face light up when you entered the room, because there is no denying how much he loved you. You could tell. You could feel it and see it. A love, while not perfect is rare, and deserves to be recognized and cherished.
Thank you Bumpa for your dedication taking care of her and making sure she was her most comfortable in her final days. I will appreciate that more than you will ever know.
