Obituary of Debra Kay Livingston
Debra (“Debbie” or “Deb”) Kay Livingston, age 67, of Bay City, Michigan (formerly of St. Charles, Michigan) was released from this Earth to God, July 13, 2024, where she joins family and friends that have gone on before. Debbie was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on September 5, 1956 – the youngest of 5 children (1 brother and 3 sisters) to the late Joseph and Illa Livingston.
Debbie spent much of her life caring for others, working in nursing homes – TenderCare in Midland, Michigan and St. Francis in Saginaw, Michigan. In later years, she volunteered and was an active member of her church. She was a lover of animals, and in her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family, reading, and the occasional casino visit.
She is survived by her son, Michael Livingston, her sister Kathy (Elmer) Engelbertson, her brother Joseph (Mary) Livingston, and many nieces and nephews; all who will miss her and the sunshine she brought to their lives. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Illa Livingston, and her sisters, Linda Martin and Margaret Crowfoot.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Nativity Lutheran Church, 625 W. Clinton St., St. Charles, Michigan 48655, on August 3, 2024, at 1pm.
