Dianna: My forever friend!
We always said that God brought us together on that first day of entering Jr. High as big seventh graders. Two people so completely different in so many ways, yet we bonded together like glue. We found ourselves in the most ridiculous adventures together which bonded us even closer through an unmatched sense of humor and uncontrollable laughter. We stood by each other through marriages, babies, moves that separated us and vacations that brought us back together. There were misunderstandings and tears shed along life's uncertain path, but the joy that we shared with the God who brought us together grew as did our faith in Jesus. And this faith, my dear friend tells me for certain that we will embrace each other again for eternity. Love, Pam

I met Dianna years ago when we were both singing in the Bay Valley Chapter of Sweet Adelines and her husband and mine were both singing in the Saginaw-Bay Chapter of Barbershoppers. Through our barbershopping, our paths crossed for many years. And then we were both working for the Bay-Arenac ISD and so our encounters increased, much to our delight. She had the most wonderful sense of humor and the most unique vocabulary. I'm sure anyone who knew her well would agree to that, and Paul did as well. The two of them together were just a hoot. Since I moved to the other side of the State I hadn't seen her for a number of years, but I'll never forgot her sparkling personality. We never had to guess what she was thinking. If it was on her mind, it was on her tongue. I always loved that about Dianna. Also, she was a wonderful tenor singer in the chorus. I always regretted that I never had a chance to quartet with her. Our loss is Heaven's gain. - - Margie Kruse

Dianna and I were members of the initial Bay City charter group of a women's barbershop choir; we all had so many good times together singing, traveling, and competing at regionals. We also worked for the Bay-Arenac ISD in Special Education, and we shared rides out to Delta College for career certification classes. She was a special lady, very organized, gracious, and had a sense of humor that kept us all in stitches! It is hard to believe such an energetic person is now gone. May she rest in peace. Aunt Diana, you were the light that brightened everyone’s day! You were wise beyond years and definitely sassy. I will always remember the fun times we had up at the cabins. We are dubbed. “The Michigan Campfire Karaoke Crew” I had always wished we lived closer. I wish we had so much more time with you. You are in Gods hands now. Rest in Peace. Please give a hug to Mom and Dad, Uncle Dale and all the loved ones that are no longer with us.
You will be remembered forever with smiles on our faces every time your name is mentioned. Love you dearly
