Obituary of Linda Sue Davis

Linda Davis, age 57, our loving mother and grandmother of Farwell, Michigan, passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 27, 2024, surrounded by her family at MyMichigan Medical Center - Midland. She was born on October 15, 1966, in Flint, Michigan to the late James and Ardith Wonsey of Harrison.  

Linda attended Clare Schools and had a variety of hobbies, including Bingo, spending time with family, couponing, and thrift shopping. Some of her favorite times were during holiday dinners, where she was surrounded by those whom she loved the most. Linda will be remembered for her love of family, and her kind and generous spirit. She had a huge heart and would give to anyone in need. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by everyone who met her, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her passing has left a huge void in our lives, but know she will be watching over us from above.  

Linda is survived by her partner, James Davis of Farwell; their four children, Andrew (Stephanie Davis) Goodrow of Farwell, Christopher (Andrea) Davis of Oil City, Erica (Adam) Roy of Midland, and Chad (Allisha) Johnson of Farwell; six beloved grandchildren whom she lit up for whenever they walked in the room; her brother, Michael Wonsey of Indiana; and her sister, Jessica Thorp. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jesse Wonsey, James Wonsey Jr., and, Chad Wonsey; and her grandson, Kaine Johnson.  

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held from 12 pm – 4 pm, June 15, 2024, at the Clare Rod and Gun Club,10844 S. Eberhart Ave., Clare, Michigan 48617.
