Keith Allan Current, age 68, passed away April 12, 2024 at the Pleasant View Shiawassee Medical Care facility nursing home in Owosso. Keith had been fighting a severe infection and was hospitalized since the end of January. He was placed in the facility just a few days before his death where he was in good spirits about his recovery but his heart just couldn’t continue the fight.

He also has several other siblings that were placed for adoption. Keith was born and raised in Owosso, he worked as a Machine Operator for Federal Mogel in St. Johns and a semi-truck driver for Werner Trucking. Keith enjoyed working with his hands. He loved to weld and came up with several clever ways to make things work for him. He liked working on anything with an engine. He enjoyed hunting and camping and enjoyed travelling throughout the U.S. He also loved to spend time at his trailer in Arizona where he participated in the parades and pot lucks held in the park. Keith had a victory motorcycle that he rode and he attended the motorcycle rallies, winning trophies for his bike.
Keith was co-director of St. Johns United Church of Christ Food Pantry for 4 years, he was a member of the choir at St. Johns, and then joined First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ and sang with the choir. Keith was a generous man, he helped those in need as much as he could.
