Obituary of James Arthur Kasper

James Arthur Kasper “Whiskers”, age 69, of Freeland, Michigan, and formerly of Kochville, Michigan), passed away April 3, 2024. He was born November 20, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Lawrence and Jeanette (Metevia) Kasper.
He owned and operated "The Clock Doctor" in Bay City, Michigan, where he repaired clocks and watches for many years. He was full of life and laughter, and loved spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fixing and repairing things, being outdoors, fishing, and hunting whitetail deer with his sons.
He was a loving husband, father, papa, uncle, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Kristine Kasper; son, Edward (Amanda) Kasper and grandson Tanner; son, Ryan (Lindsay) Kasper, and grandsons Graham and Jett; siblings, Bill Kasper, Don (Jamie) Kasper, Janet (Sonny) Burk, Ken (Bobbie) Kasper, Bob Kasper, Barbara (Tim) Queen, LouAnn (Tom) Mannion, and Jim Eaves; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers, Larry Kasper, Terry Kasper, Mike Kasper, and Duane Kasper; sister, Geralyn Eaves; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Kasper.
Due to Jim's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, or to do something kind for someone as Jim always would do.
