Obituary of John Donham Leeds, Jr.

John “Don” Donham Leeds Jr., age 92, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on April 1, 2024. He was born on July 22, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from Oakland County Schools (later Avondale). He served in the U. S. Air Force as an Airman, First Class, during the Korean War.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Shirley (Geror); daughters, Pamela (Craig) Douglas, and Hazel (Frank) Risken; and grandchildren, Andrew and Elizabeth Douglas, and Nicholas Risken.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Isabella Leeds; and his sister, Isabel “Peaches” Hattaway. Burial will be held at a later date at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
