Q: What will you never forget about Robert?
A: His kindness and compassion, so very caring, going the extra mile to help someone in need. He was my guidance counselor in the late 1980s at John Glenn. He helped me through a very rough senior year, and because of him, I completed my senior year early and walked with my class. He gave me a Glenn sweatshirt as a Christmas present in 1989. I'll never forget him and how much he helped me, especially that 1989-90 senior year. You will be missed, Mr. Shearer. Prayers for peace and strength, with deepest condolences to your family and friends.
