Obituary of Glois Opal Symon

Glois O. (Spyker) Symon of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away peacefully at the age of 96, on March 10, 2024. She was born on March 16, 1927 in Laporte, Michigan, Midland County, to the late Harold and Beulah (Wehner) Spyker. She was a stay at home mom before returning back into the workforce, where she worked in sales and management. She was preceded in death by her late husband, James “Jim” G. Symon; two daughters, Maureen and Susan; two brothers, Stewart and Dale; one sister, Carmon; one granddaughter, Hollie Jean; and one great-grandson, Zachary.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Symon) Dezelah of Saginaw; sister, Geraldine “Geri” Mihalik of Manistee; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
