I was so sad to read of Larry’s passing. I met Larry and his side-kick Robert G., back in the early 70’s when I lived in Merrill for a couple years. They were my age, everyone else I knew was much older, so it was nice to have someone I could relate to. Larry was always so nice and thoughtful. More than once, they would drive out to our house (my husband worked out of town, building pole barns most of the week), to check on me and to see if I needed anything, or just to keep me company for a while. I’ve often thought of Larry, remembering the fun times we had. I hadn’t seen him in forever, but have wonderful memories of a tall, shy, kind-hearted guy. I’m truly sorry for your loss.
