Obituary of Darlene Margaret Kreger

Darlene “Dar” Kreger of Bay City, Michigan passed away peacefully with her family by her side at McLaren Bay on Saturday February 10, 2024, at the age of 81.  She was born May 11, 1942 to the late Emil and Emma Guoan in Bay City, Michigan. 

She was a graduate of Bay City Central High School in 1960 and from there she went on to start her family with late ex-husband Ron Millard and late ex-husband Roy Kreger, and began her legacy.  Dar had a spark and spunk that brought life and joy to all who knew her.  She was an avid shuffleboard player and looked forward to their weekly matches.  She also loved to crochet.  Having quite the yarn collection, she would often be found making blankets, slippers, and other treasured wares.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. 

Dar was predeceased by her parents, Emil and Emma Guoan; brother, Jim Guoan; sister-in-law Pat; sons, Jeffrey and Eugene Millard; and her two pups Peanut and Tiny.  She is survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Rose) Goan and Ron (Pat) Guoan; daughter, Kristine (Phillip) Smith; daughters-in-law, Virginia Millard, Jeanette Bellor, and Shari Millard; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other beloved family members and friends. Dar will also be missed by her canine friend, Cinna.  Dar and her wit and humor will be missed by all who knew her. 

A celebration of life will be held at 11 am on Friday February 23, 2024 at the New Life Vineyard Church, 1014 E.
