Hunt Sr., Kent A “Goose”

Hemlock, MI

Goose passed away on February 10, 2024 at the age of 67.   He was born on July 6, 1956 to the late Harold and LeeElla Jean Hunt in Saginaw, Michigan.  He married Joan Putnam, the love of his life, on July 11, 1986, and she survives him. 

Goose enlisted in the Navy in 1975.  Throughout the years after he left the Navy, he learned and worked various jobs and eventually retired from Covenant as a Boiler Technician.   Goose really enjoyed riding his Harley, camping and entertaining.  He was a well known DJ around the area and he really enjoyed talking and meeting new people.  

Goose is survived by his wife, Joan; his son, Kent Hunt Jr. (Shannon) of Hemlock, and Paul (Heather) Hunt of Sewell, New Jersey; grandchildren, Logan and Mya Wunsch of Hemlock, MI, Justin and Amber Hunt of Sewell, New Jersey, and Ashley Hunt of Big Bear Lake, CA; brother, Kevin (Karen) Hunt; sister-in-law, Janet Hunt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephew whom he loved.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry, Larry and Rodney Hunt; and his sister, Delores Larson.
