Obituary of Henry Edward Whitehead

Henry E. Whitehead of Midland, Michigan went to see the Lord on February 8, 2024 at the age of 82. He was born on January 16, 1942 to the late Wilford Whitehead and his wife Pearl, in St. Louis, Michigan.  Henry was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church and enjoyed bowling, classic cars, movies, fishing, and going for walks. He was active with his bowling team at the Clare bowling alley and the church.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; his brother, Sam; his step-son, Matthew King and his wife Laura; and many more relatives and friends. He was predeceased by Phyllis Whitehead and Bob Whitehead, his brother. Henry will be missed for his friendliness, his helpfulness and his happy demeanor. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 A.M., June 11, 2024 at 609 Mill Street, Midland Michigan 48640.  The family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 A.M.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the “Wishes of the Whitehead Family”.  To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com  Arrangements are made with the Cremation Society of Mid-Michigan-1-989-892 1772.
