Obituary of Norman Lee Dixon

Norman Lee Dixon, age 68, of Bay City Michigan passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2024 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw Michigan from RSV. Norman was born in Saginaw Michigan on December 3, 1955, to the late Melvin Dixon and Dorothy (Langford) Dixon. 

Norman was a mechanic his entire life learning the trade from his father. He worked at various companies in and around Bay City and Saginaw as a mechanic. His favorite pastime was working on his trucks or riding his motorcycles. Norman is survived by his daughter, Melissa Dixon; son, Michael (Dixon) Russell; their mother, Beth Johnson; three 3 grandchildren; sisters, Randi Patteen, Sueanne (Donald) Niemiec, Darleen (Allen) VanOchten, and Deborah Dixon; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased by his brother-in-law, William ‘Bill’ Patteen; and one grandson. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
