Robert passed away at home on January 25, 2024 at the age of 90.  He maintained his charismatic sense of humor and his warm infectious smile until the end.  He was born to the late Theodore and Frances (Newman) Beckrow in Midland, Michigan.

 He retired from Dow Chemical in Midland, Michigan, and enjoyed tinkering as a handyman.   He could fix anything and had a remote for everything.

 

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Linda-Beckrow, with whom he shared 7 years of happiness.  He is also survived by his step-children, Bruce (Sue) Linda, Cindy (Dave) Witucki, and Kevin Linda; nine step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren; and nieces from his previous marriage. He was predeceased by his first wife, PegAnn (Meier) Beckrow, and his sister, Joanne. 

 

A private memorial service was held at home per Robert’s wishes with Pastor Ron Dunn. The family would like to express their gratitude to the McLaren Hospice staff, including home care staff, Vanessa, Crystal, Angie and Katrina.  We also want to give our heartfelt thanks to a special Angel, Tiffany, who guided us through this difficult time.
