Lawrence Clarence Miller, known to his loved ones as Larry, passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 63 in Bay City, Michigan. He was born on September 24, 1960, in Bay City. Larry was a beloved son, brother, father, step-father, grandfather, and friend.
Larry had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Despite his intimidating appearance, once you got to know him, you discovered a loyal and caring friend. He deeply cherished his girlfriend, Nancy Willette, and greatly missed her after her passing. Larry took immense pride in talking about his grandkids, Elliott and Ella Beck, and enjoyed sharing stories about them.
In his career, Larry worked as a Roofer/Crew Leader at Brown & Son Roofing Co. for over 30 years. His dedication and expertise made a lasting impact on his colleagues and the projects he worked on.
Outside of work, Larry had a variety of hobbies that brought him joy. He loved riding his Harley, going ice fishing, snowmobile riding, and spending time at deer camp with his friends. Larry also enjoyed playing horseshoes, darts, and shooting pool.
Larry is survived by his son, Lawrence M. Miller; his step-children, Stephen Beck and Rachel Beck; and his grandchildren, Elliott Beck and Ella Beck. He is also survived by his mother, Margie DeWey; his sister, Connie Burch; and his brothers, Byron Clutier, Billy Clutier, and Darren Fritz. Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Randa Shorter; his father, Lawrence C. Miller; and his girlfriend, Nancy Willette.
A private ceremony will be held for Larry, and no public services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers or contributions, the family kindly requests privacy and time to grieve their loss.
