With heavy hearts, we remember William, our beloved neighbor of four years. He was an embodiment of love, kindness and generosity blended with intelligence and a sparkling sense of humor. It became a cherished ritual to sit outside by his side in the company of our dogs, sharing thoughts under the vast sky. His thoughtfulness made every conversation meaningful. His absence leaves an unfillable void, but his loving memory will forever remain in our hearts.

The memories I have of Will go back some 40 years. When he worked with my Dad, Richard Schreiber, at the grain elevator, to going fishing to celebrating the 1st day of Spring by grilling pork steaks outside even if it was snowing. Memories I will always cherish within my heart. My deepest condolences go to the family at this difficult time. Love & God Bless. Julie Schreiber

We had a ball cruising McDonalds in the old days. Will was always there for me for 70 years. He was my cousin, brother and friend. If trouble broke out, he always made sure I was safe. He taught me how to drive a three on the column while cruising McDonalds on a Saturday night.

I've known Will since before he was born. He is like my own cousin. We grew up together as kids, playing on the farm and riding his pony, King. Even though I went to Midland High and he went to Bullock Creek, we always found time to cruise McDonalds together and hang with friends. Will was always a part of my life and I miss him dearly. He was family, friend, advisor and much loved.

Will was a special friend. I was his pastor for 12 years and grew to love and appreciate him. On Sunday mornings I would always kid with him about singing a duet together. It never happened, so now we will do it in heaven.
