Obituary of Jenny Lee Rumbaugh

Jenny passed away at home on September 27, 2023, at the age of 77. She was born on July 23, 1946, to the late William and Melba Kutsch in Saginaw.

Jenny married the love of her life, Steve Rumbaugh, August 2, 1985. He preceded her in death in June of 2019. They were married for 34 years and were able to travel to many special places, their favorite being Germany.

Jenny worked as an interior designer for many years and her gift was evident in each house she and Steve called home. Flowers were her passion later in life and there was always a vase of fresh beauties on her counter. U of M football and basketball were on her must see lists and she was always ready to cheer them on to victory.

Left to cherish her memory are: Melissa (Dwayne) Hostetler, Michael (Lisa) Latkovic, Eric (Tracy) Rumbaugh, Sean Rumbaugh, Jeffrey Rumbaugh; grandchildren, Angelina Latkovic, Christa (Daniel Hasbani), Alicia (Joseph) Borris, Jacob Hostetler, Emma Latkovic; great-grandchildren, Violet Latkovic, William Latkovic and Shepherd Hasbani. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Brian Rumbaugh; and sisters-in-law, Sue Rumbaugh and Judy Montgomery.  Jenny was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Bergh, PhD, and an infant sister Karen Kutsch.

Her family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Theresa, Pam and the entire staff of Compassus Hospice for their wonderful care.

Per Jenny’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public funeral service.
