Obituary of Fay Anne Maltby

Fay Anne (Lawrence) Maltby of Saginaw, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed from this earth on September 27, 2023 at the age of 85, at Edgewood Assisted Living Center. Born on August 7, 1938 in Marquette, Michigan to Raymond and Anne (Reed) Lawrence, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph and Larry; a son, Richard Miller Jr.; daughter-in-law, Jessica (Plotnick) Miller; husband of 37 years, George T. Maltby II; and ex-husband, Richard Miller.

 

Faye is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Dennis) and Lori (Damon; sons, Darrell (Terrie) and George III (Michelle); 13 grandchildren, Shawn Miller, Jeremy Miller, Eaydn Wiemken, Ariel Green, Chad Miller, Keil Miller, Adam Miller, Heather Ostrander, Chelcee Ott, Julianne Boyd, Allyson Woollweever, Damon Parker Jr, and Donovan Parker; and 5 great-grandchildren, Torrie, Elena, Isla, Bailee, and Lincoln.

 

Faye held many jobs over the years, but none more important than Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. We will miss her, and thank her for her love, guidance, support and humor. We are comforted knowing that she is at rest now. The family will hold a private ceremony.
