So sorry to hear this news about Larry. When my brothers and I were growing up Larry was everything that you’d want in a slightly older cousin, he knew a lot of the stuff that our parents didn’t want us to know! Over the years we lost touch but when we did see each other Larry always had a way of making you feel good, “…man, we’re not getting older, we’re getting better looking!!” He had a presence that won’t soon be forgotten.

Larry,
You were a great friend to my dad and my family. I have so many memories of you hanging out at our house, working on our cars, and listening to your stories. Rest in peace.

Rest in peace my dear grandpa. Your spirit will live on through those whose hearts you touched along your journey. Your soul is soaring through higher & better dimensions looking over us all now. You're finally pain free and looking back at all the memories and lessons you experienced. You are reunited with those who went before you.
In those last few weeks I asked you if you had any last things you'd like to do on your bucket list & you quickly responded no, nope, I'm good. You were absolutely content with all you've seen and done. To hear you say that brought me to tears & left me with a great sense of peace within my heart. Now I'm sure that doesn't mean there wasn't a few things you would have done differently..
I will forever cherish the memories I shared with you. All our little life chats. All the times you came to the rescue with your Jimmy cause I was moving too fast. You truly were such a special person to me.
I admired how great you were with your great grand daughter Elliana. That little girl is going to mourn you the most and that's what hurts the worst.
You will be missed, loved and mourned by many. Make sure to leave us some signs along the way. Until we meet again.

As a General Manager at Advance Auto, Larry was a regular customer (many times daily). He has worked on many vehicles for me, even in the parking lot. I will remember him as an honest person never trying to sell me something I did not need and helping me reduce the cost to repair when possible. I will remember him as a friend.
