John Richard Heller unexpectedly passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 45. He was born in Dearborn, Michigan on August 8, 1977, to Richard and Debbie Heller.

John enjoyed spending time with his family at their family cottage in Caseville, where you could find him laughing and telling stories and jokes around the bonfire. He loved to spend his days fishing and being out on his boat in the Saginaw Bay. John was an extraordinary chef, who also took great pride in growing his own garden every year. John was a big sports fan who enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, and PGA Golf. He would take every chance he could to hit the links with his dad, Richard, his brother, Justin, and his buddy, Perm. He also had the biggest heart, especially when it came to animals, and enjoyed taking care of his family dog, Wylie, and his god-dog, Oddy.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Debbie Heller; brothers, Richard Heller Jr., Jason Heller, and Justin Heller; aunt, Linda Grech; and cousins, Mike Wells (Paula Starzec), Renee (Garry) Rogers, Yvonne Guibord, Brittney (Chase) Mann & family, David (Brian) Guibord, Paige (Parker) & Piper Hencak, and Emily Wells (Burley Russell) & Scout Russell.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Evelyn Wells; and uncles, Dave Wells and Tim Grech.
