Mary passed away March 5, 2023, at the age of 84. She was born on November 25, 1938 to the late Frank and Mille Bridgewater, and was a daughter to her step-father, William Roach. She was an active member of Hopevale Church in Saginaw, Michigan. She enjoyed her volunteer work with hospice, spending time with her family, kids, and grandkids events. She also enjoyed camping with her family, puzzles, card night, gardening, helping others, and all University of Michigan sports.
She is survived by her children, Dean (Denise) DuFort, Doug (Dawn) DuFort, Dana (Tim) Sporman, Dwight (Cathy) DuFort, and David (Jodi) DuFort; grandchildren, Nicole DuFort (Jacob Ervin), Danielle (John) Holubik, Scott, Breck, Tanner and Nathan DuFort, Tyler and Kyle Sporman, and Jacob Irving; great-grandchildren, Harper Holubik, Kennedy and Evelyn Sporman and Jacoby, and Shyann and Mariah Irving; a brother, Jerry (Alice) Bridgewater; sister-in-law, Dawilla Bridgewater; 2 brothers-in-law, Robert DuFort and Edward (Carol) DuFort; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald "Jake" DuFort; brothers, Frank, Wayne, and Oscar; and sisters, Viviane Hoppe and Jean Westcott/Rylance.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 PM, April 29, 2023 at Hopevale Church, 4873 N. Center Rd, Saginaw, Michigan. Family will receive friends at Hopevale Church prior to the service from 11AM -1 PM.
