Joan was introduced into my life when my family moved to Reese in 1963. She was helping her mother with the girl scout group her mother managed that my sister and I joined. Her brother Jim was employed in my parents plumbing business so we and her family crossed paths often and we became friends with her brothers and sister too. Each family member brought something to our life... Child care, girlscout, friend, students in same highschool, words of wisdom from their Mom and Dad a sense of welcome and fondness from the complete family... Our early years in a new town was so much easier having them all as friends... God bless them all for the kindness and beautiful memories. And thanks Joan for teaching me about fake eyelashes ... The single kind were the easiest and longest lasting ❤️
