Obituary of Sandra Lee Stone

Sandra Lee (Frank) Stone, age 73 of Twining, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 with her family by her side. Sandra was born to the late Lavern & Patricia Frank on July 21, 1949. Sandra married the love of her life and high-school sweetheart, Kenneth Stone on July 22,1967. She retired from Whittemore Prescott School District after 15 years as a bus driver.  Sandra lived a simple life where she enjoyed spending most of her time in her sewing room.  She loved making crafts, writing letters, holidays, and planning any party. In her neighborhood, all the neighbor kids called her “mom”. Sandra lived her life for her beautiful family and loved them with all her heart.  She loved her children and grandchildren and looked forward to all their visits.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Kenneth Stone; daughters, Kelly (Chris) Grauherr of Twining MI, Bonita (Dave) Kelley of Roscommon MI, and Marcy (Mike) Svejcara of Twining MI; grandchildren, Cole (Macy) Svejcara, Riann Svejcara, Logan Svejcara, Kelsey Kohn, Kody Kohn, Kaidin Kohn, Gage (Ericka Stark) Kelley, Marcus (Gabby) Kelley, and Dustin (Katherine) Kelley; great- grandchildren, Kenneth Kelley, Hannah Kelley, and Madelynn Kelley. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Lavern & Patricia Frank; brother, Paul Frank; and daughter, Kimberly Stone.  The family would like to share a very special thank-you to McLaren Hospice, Doris, Michelle, Tiffany, Katrina, Ann, Holly, & Roland Spencer and family.  We can't thank you enough for all the great care you gave Sandra.
