Basil G. Lyons, age 77, of Bentley, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at his home. Basil passed away due to cancer and just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Basil managed his illness with strength and grace and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible.

Basil was born in 1944 to the late Francis G. and George Guy Lyons in Bentley, MI.  He was a member of The Valley Trail Riders Motorcycle Club.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and his garden was his pride and joy.  

He was a kind and loving partner to his spouse Linda, as well as an amazing father to all of his children.  He is survived by his spouse, Linda Lyons; his brother, Glen Lyons and his children, Jim Santos, Joe Santos, Ron & Pattie Santos, Shawn Santos, Dave & Karen Lyons, Mark Lyons, Don Beson, Ronnie Beson, Marc & Amy Beson, Jim & Kim Beson, and Pam Budinski; 27 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
