David F. Schanz
March 11, 1952 – Feb. 17, 2022
David Fredrick Schanz, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on Feb. 17, 2022, in Saginaw, Michigan. He was born March 11, 1952, in Detroit to the late Robert J. and Margaret V. (Maskill) Schanz.
On Sept. 8, 1973, he married Mary Teresa “Terri” Frawley, in Saginaw, Michigan, and she survives him.
Also surviving are three sons: Benjamin (Katie) Schanz, John (Katherine) Schanz and Christopher (Christine) Schanz, all of Saginaw; grandchildren Taylor and Alexander Schanz of Saginaw; brother Robert J. (Sue) Schanz, of Petaluma, California; sister Norma (Norman) Slominski of Delran, New Jersey; brother-in-law Ed Miller of Burlington, New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Miller, and brother Michael Schanz.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
