Obituary of Charles Robert Davies

Charles R. Davies of Kingston, Michigan passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 79. He was born in Marlette on August 27, 1942 to the late Alvin and Beulah (Cox) Davies. Charles spent many years excavating, welding, and farming. He enjoyed reloading ammunition and watching football and westerns. He also enjoyed working in his garage. He is survived by his wife, Shirley I. Davies; sister-in-law, Bonnie Davies of Belfair, Washington; children, Darcy Davies of Marlette, Denise (Doug) Brown of Clifford, and Ryan (Billie Jo) Davies of Caro, Ronald Mouton of Snover, Sherry (Mike Johnson) Kasperian of Commerce, and Michelle (Brandon) Whitney of Almont; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald Davies and Ivan Davies; a sister, Donna Patrick; and an infant daughter, Susan Davies. A memorial service will take place in May of 2022.
