Obituary of Robert Leon Haddix Sr.

Haddix Sr., Robert L. Linwood, MI (formerly of East Tawas MI) Robert, age 92, passed away November 28, 2021. He was born August 7, 1929 in Auburn Heights Michigan to the late Warren & Mildred Haddix. On July 14, 1951 in Stoughton Wisconsin, he began his 70 year marriage to the love of his life, Mary I. Wedvick. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force from 1950 to 1970, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Tawas, Michigan, was a member of the Tawas Masonic Lodge # 274, the Tawas Elks Club # 2525, and the Tawas Bay Eagles Post # 2588. Although he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, working on lawn tractors, and yard work, his love was for his family and the time he spent with them. He is survived by his wife, Mary I. Haddix; children, Joan I. Haddix, Robert L. (Barbara) Haddix, Jr., and Cynthia M. (David) DiDonato; grandchildren, Aaron (Kristin) Haddix, Kevin (Kellie) Haddix, Nicole Trombley, and Chelsea Trombley; and great-grandchildren, Kailyn, Kody, AJ, Kacy, Kylie, and Asher. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. A private service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Bay City Comfort Care for their kindness and care.
