I extend our heartfelt condolences for the loss of the dedicated professor and esteemed colleague, Prof. George Corser. I had the privilege of meeting George during the academic year 1986-1987 at university. Our conversations revealed his profound knowledge spanning teaching, learning, engineering, history, politics, freedom, justice, and fairness.
During our collaboration on the SVSU FA board, I witnessed George's unwavering dedication to SVSU faculty affairs. His problem-solving approach was refreshingly straightforward and honest. A dinner invitation to his home provided a glimpse into his vast home library, showcasing a collection of books and articles.
His readiness to share perspectives, dedication to SVSU students, compassion for global freedom, kindness, and warm smile left a lasting impression. May the cherished memories of George offer solace and comfort to his family during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with them.
