Obituary of Robert William Williams
Robert W. Williams, age 74, of Caro, Michigan (formerly of Troy) went home, peacefully in his sleep, to be with his LORD Saturday, August 3, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joy A. Williams (Harrington); his daughter, Vicki (William) McMurray; grandchildren, Kayleen (Brenden) Schulz, Kory McMurray and Kyle McMurray; his siblings, Cheryl (Dave)Touchton, Lee (Debi) Williams, Craig Williams, Timothy Williams, Bill Hughes Jr., Mary (Will) Patton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patsy Williams; son, Robert H. Williams (Cheryl); sisters, CarolAnn Reasoner (Ray) and Patsy Simons (Michael).
Rob worked for William Beaumont Hospital (Shared Services) as a truck driver for 28 years. After retiring and moving, he worked for Caro Hospital .
He was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church of Troy for most of his life prior to moving to Caro.
He loved looking at and talking about “classic” cars, listening to “oldies”, his beloved dog Dingo, and then KoKo. He was very appreciative of his dear friends and neighbors Russ and Dee Tibbits.
